Pride Mobility is one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of mobility products, with the Pride brand featuring everything from electric wheelchairs to mobility scooters. It has multiple locations in the United States and can also be found in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, China, France, the Netherlands, and Canada.
About Pride Mobility
The Pride Mobility story begins in 1986 when two families began manufacturing wheelchairs in a small Pennsylvania location. In a few short years, Pride Mobility became an industry leader recognized throughout PA with a growing national identity.
In the early 90s, Pride Mobility moved onto mobility scooters, and by the end of the decade, it had an extensive product range and had expanded into numerous international territories. In the twenty years since, Pride Mobility has continued to grow its range and its reach. It is now regarded as one of the best mobility manufacturers in the world.

Pride Mobility Reviews
Pride Mobility reviews are a pretty mixed bag. The company has an average rating of between 3 and 4 on many user review sites and a low score of 1.5 out of 5 on Yelp.
These scores may be a little concerning at first, but it’s not something we would worry about. As far as we can tell, Pride Mobility doesn’t request reviews from its users. Many retail companies work with user review sites directly and send automatic review requests a week or two after every order.
This direct approach generates a lot of positive reviews for the companies and keeps scores high, which is why sites that have claimed their Trustpilot pages tend to have a much higher rating than those that have not.
So, what does this have to do with Pride Mobility? Well, when companies don’t use this process, all reviews come from users who have actively searched for review sites, looked for the company, and then vented their opinion. As you could imagine, this is not a process that most happy customers go through. Rather, it is usually reserved for customers who have something negative to say.
Just take a look at the Apple’s Trustpilot page. It has won countless awards for its customer support, produces some of the best products in the tech industry, and has a massive fanbase. At the same time, it also doesn’t request reviews and, as a result, has an overall score of just 1.7 out of 5.
When looking at negative reviews like this, it’s important to focus more on what the customers are saying and how the company responds. For example, if they’re complaining about malfunctions and unresponsive customer service reps and their complaints are ignored, that’s cause for concern.
In Pride Mobility’s case, all bad reviews are dealt with promptly and, as far as we can tell, most are resolved quickly and completely. As for the reviews themselves, they tend to focus more on issues with occasional breakdowns, but that’s always a problem that a minority will have, and it’s covered by the warranty. Customers have also complained about poor customer support from time to time.
All things considered, while the review scores are low, there is nothing to worry about. If you do have an issue that falls on deaf ears, use those reviews to your advantage, vent your frustration, and they’ll be quick to help.
