Elenker Brand Profile

Elenker is a mobility brand giving seniors and disabled customers some much-needed assistance at home and outside. The Elenker range includes walkers, rollators, and more, and many of them are designed to be folded and stored away when not in use.

Elenker Products

In 2020, Elenker began selling face masks under the Elenker Health brand. It also donated over 1 million masks throughout the year, doing its bit for American hospitals, charities, and other organizations in need. Their desire to help touches everything that the company does and has helped it to become a leading force in the mobility sector.

Its products include upright walkers, rollator walkers, knee walkers, and electric wheelchairs. These products are sleek, lightweight, and designed with easy storage in mind. They are not heavy duty and, therefore, are not ideally suited for obese individuals, but there are a few different options to choose from.

Ordering Information

Elenker has warehouses on the east and west coast, as well as Australia and the United Kingdom, allowing them to ship products to customers across the US and to multiple countries worldwide.

All online orders are processed using PayPal and credit cards, but you can also visit the Elenker showroom and pay in cash. If you’d prefer to buy somewhere you already have an account, check the Elenker Amazon store instead.

Due to the nature of the products, we recommend visiting the showroom if it’s within reach. This will allow you to get a feel for what you’re buying and ensure you get something that is sturdy, strong, and perfect for your size, weight, and needs.

It means you can ask the showroom staff about warranties, information that isn’t readily available on the website (see below).

Returns and Warranties

All Elenker Walkers are covered by a two-year warranty. Unfortunately, while the Elenker website contains a link to this warranty, it’s broken, and there’s no further information on the site or in the company’s terms and conditions.

The site does contain additional information on the Elenker Returns Policy, however. It states that you have 30 days to return the item for full credit or a replacement, but only if:

  • The item is damaged or defective or you were sent the wrong item (must inform them within 2 days of receipt)
  • The item is unused.

The “30 days” is from the point of purchase and not the moment of delivery, and all refund credits are made through PayPal.

Elenker Reviews

Elenker Walkers have accumulated hundreds and, in some cases, thousands of reviews on sites like Amazon. The average ratings are a little less than some other major mobility brands, but they still average over 4 out of 5 stars.

We’re used to seeing negative reviews for brands like this and often note how those negative reviews are the result of customers not reading the specifications. They purchase walkers and chairs that are not suited for individuals their height or weight, leading to serious product damage and very unhappy customers.

These negative reviews also exist for Elenker Walkers, but in addition, there are some reviews complaining about the strength and stability of its products. A couple of customers have apparently fallen through or off the chairs, and others have insisted they are too unstable for their needs.

Because of this, we recommend testing the product you’re interested in before you buy and making sure you pay close attention to its returns policy and warranty. If it’s true that the product is not up to scratch, you should be able to see and feel the deficiencies as soon as you get your hands on it.
