Silvergate San Marcos is one of three privately owned Silvergate properties in San Diego. Interestingly, the owner visits often to stay involved with staff and residents. This community offers living accommodations for seniors with services for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Silvergate is located within minutes away of local entertainment venues including restaurants, shopping centers and a movie theater. It is also nearby Carlsbad and Oceanside beaches, two lakes, hiking trails, parks and California State University San Marcos.

Dining: Silvergate offers three daily meals and snacks in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Assisted Living residents eat in the restaurant-style dining room with a fresh salad bar, wait staff, and the option for a cocktail before dinner. On the other side, Memory Care residents eat in home-like environment with up to 10 residents at a time. Silvergate can accommodate special diets for $150 per month, and welcomes family and friends to join residents for a small fee.

No. Residents of Silvergate can pay fees on a month-to-month basis.
What types of health assessments are performed routinely?
When each resident joins the community, the staff will conduct a full assessment. Thereafter, the staff will perform routine checks, generally during meals. If there is any change in the condition of the resident, then the care staff will notify his or her doctor.
What types of community events does Silvergate San Marcos offer?
Since Silvergate is centrally located, its Activity Director can schedule outings for the residents to venture out of the community with various shopping options, events in North County, casino trips, wine tastings, cruises, sporting events, museums, movie theaters, and live performances.
