Nectar Mattresses
The original Nectar mattress uses memory form, is available in six sizes from Twin to Cal King, and is built using 5 layers. It claims to provide constant airflow for cooling and dryness, and to keep motion transfer to a minimum, and its memory foam composition means it works well for most sleeping positions.
The original mattress has a retail price ranging from $649 to $1,149 depending on size, but there are always sales and discounts available. Generally, you shouldn’t be paying more than $500 for the smaller options and can get the bigger ones for under $900.
There is also a Nectar Luxury Mattress, which takes things to another level in terms of both quality and price. It also has 12 layers, but is thicker, uses more premium materials, offers greater cooling, has better support, and offers more durability.
The retail price of this mattress doesn’t drop below $1,000, which will be well out of range for many buyers, especially when you consider that the large sizes are $1,799. Again, though, these prices are often discounted by $100 or $200 and, as outlined below, financing is also available.

- Bed Frames: Includes an adjustable frame, which costs $999 for the Queen size. Fixed frames are available as well
- Furniture: Platform beds, nightstands, and other bedroom pieces
- Sheets: Sets of linen and sateen, a type of satin, are available. They also sell duvets
- Mattress Protector: Creates a barrier between you and your mattress, improving durability and potentially extending the life of the mattress
- Pillows: Quilted, luxury, and ventilated pillows. These are often included in Nectar bundle offers, where you can get them free when you buy a mattress

All mattresses are supplied with a generous risk-free 365-Night Sleep Trial, which means you have a full year to try the mattress and, if you don’t like it, you can send it back for a refund.
Shipping is fast and free and lifetime warranties are available. However, the warranty is not an extension of the sleep trial and you can’t simply return it for a refund 2, 5, or 10 years down the line. It only applies to faults and flaws, and not if the mattress is damaged by spills, rips, tears, or anything else caused by the consumer.
The great news is that returns are free whether you’re using the Sleep Trial or the warranty. This isn’t always the case with online mattress retailers.

Where are Nectar Mattresses Made?
Many online mattress manufacturers love to claim that their products are USA-Made. It’s a label that looks great slapped on any product marketed toward US consumers, and an opportunity that brands are quick to embrace.
For a long time, Nectar did just that, claiming that all Nectar mattresses were “designed and assembled in the USA.” Later, that claim fell apart when the FTC discovered that Nectar mattresses are made in China, and that no American workers assemble the final product.
That’s why you will not see the “American-Made” or “USA-Made” label here, and why Nectar now openly states that its mattresses are “…manufactured in places such as Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Mexico, and the USA”.
Although many consumers will be disappointed by this, Nectar is still a US company and it gives jobs to many US employees. It just happens to outsource a lot of its manufacturing to cheaper countries, which allows it to offer a more affordable product. This global approach also makes it easier for Nectar to sell its products across the pond, where they are branded as Nectar Sleep.
