John Wilkinson Sr. founded Natural Form over 30 years ago. His aim was to produce a new mattress, one that didn’t rely on springs or endless layers of foam and provided optimal support via the implementation of air pods and chambers.
This unique approach has helped transform Natural Form into a nationally recognized brand with products that are used in 1,200 hospitals across the United States.
About Natural Form
The Natural Form focus has always been on providing pain relief, utilizing patented technologies and designs, and providing support for chronic conditions, such as back pain. Everyone deserves a comfortable and restless night’s sleep, and with Natural Form that goal is well within reach.
Its products are handcrafted in Southern Vermont. Its manufacturing facility is FDA registered and operates on 100% solar power. Natural Form’s dedication to sustainability can also be seen in its products, which use natural, chemical-free, and certified organic materials.
Technology and Benefits
Not only are Natural Form mattresses recommended by many medical experts, but as previously mentioned, they are also used in medical settings. This includes hospitals and nursing homes. These therapeutic mattresses can help with an array of conditions, from acid reflux and allergies to degenerative disc disease and chronic back pain.
They can also indirectly help with insomnia, restlessness, stress, and the countless other issues that can cause a lack of sleep. If you’re not sleeping because you’re in pain all night, these mattresses can remedy that issue, allow you to sleep soundly, and ensure you wake up feeling happy and refreshed.
It’s not just about providing support either, as Natural Form mattresses also feature cooling technology to keep you dry and cool throughout the night.
The Natural Form Mattresses
Natural Form produces several types of mattress:
- Garden Sleep System: Contains 8 adjustable air chambers on each side and features Natural Form’s patented self-adjusting technology
- Health Series+: Made using hybrid memory foam, merino wool, and cross-connected air pods, these mattresses are available in two degrees of thickness
- Oversized Mattresses: Custom mattresses designed to fit any bed, with breathable cotton, hybrid foam, and other patented Natural Form technology
All of these mattresses come with extensive warranties and a 100 Night Sleep Trial. If you find that the bed is not to your liking, you can return it for a full refund within 100 days. All shipping, including returns, is provided free of charge. White Glove Delivery, whereby the mattress is delivered to a room of your choice and your old mattress is removed, is also available as an optional extra.
0% financing is also offered through Synchrony, although this is subject to availability and qualification checks.
Prices are not listed on the Natural Form website and you will need to contact the company to get a quote. As you can imagine, prices are not cheap, but these are not your run-of-the-mill boxed beds. They are premium, clinically proven, expert-recommended mattresses designed to support, provide relief, and help you sleep easily.
Natural Form Adjustable Bases
Whether you want to raise your head to comfortably watch TV or raise your feet to provide support, Natural Form’s adjustable bases can help. There are several models available, each featuring multiple adjustment options and a 10-year warranty.
As with Natural Form mattresses, you will need to contact the company in advance to get a quote on these bases. Complete the form on the product page or click the “Get Pricing” tab in the website’s header.
Natural Form Reviews
It’s clear that medical experts have a lot of positive things to say about Natural Form and its life-changing products, but what do regular customers say? The company has been around for a long time, but it doesn’t sell as many consumer products as the average bed-in-a-box brand. As a result, user reviews are not readily available.
That being said, the company has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and only 1 complaint from 2019 that was handled promptly. As previously stated, its products have also been well-reviewed by industry experts.
ConsumerAffairs.com is one of the few populated user review sites and it has given Natural Form a 3.6 out of 5. Although not ideal, this is the result of just 5 reviews, 3 of which were 5-star with the others awarding just 1 and 2 stars. One of these negative reviews complained about an issue they had with a third-party delivery company, while the other complained about a bad smell.
In the case of the latter, the reviewer took it upon themselves to buy a new foam top for $500 and then expected Natural Form to reimburse them for this, only to leave a negative review when they did not. While we can understand a somewhat negative review resulting from a bad smell, even though this is common for new mattresses, we’ll side with the company on this one.
If your mattress smells bad, and that smell remains for days, by all means, contact the company and ask for a resolution. You can even request a refund as part of the 10-year warranty or the 100 Night Sleep Trial. You shouldn’t take these things into your own hands, however, as it leaves the manufacturer with little recourse.
Natural Form is open from 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday and from 9 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. You can speak with one of their expert advisors using the contact form at the bottom of the Natural Form website or click on the Live Chat link and message someone in real time.
