General Information
Grossmont Gardens is an Elmcroft Senior Living Community. This two-story senior community is located on 9 acres of property in La Mesa, CA, which is 10-15 miles east of Downtown San Diego. It offers luxurious features and amenities including a pool, beautiful garden areas, walking paths, and a number of outdoor spaces with gorgeous views of Mt. Helix. Every apartment features a large patio in the front and one in the back of the living area. There is plenty of sunlight at this inviting senior community.
The community was once a larger-sized motel. Elmcroft purchased and renovated the property. However, some of the interior décor is outdated. It offers a multi-level health care campus with lifestyle enrichment programs that include a full schedule of activities, resident outings every week, as well as its Vitality Club, Walking Tall and Second Wind Dreams programs. Care Services/Staffing:
The registered nurses are on staff 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. In addition, there are licensed vocational nurses, Med-Techs, a full-time activities director, housekeepers, maintenance staff and administrative staff. The ratio of staff to residents on the Independent Living side of the community is about 15:1. The ratio is 4:1 within the Assisted Living Community. There is more staff available to residents if they need additional assistance.

If there is any change of condition or decline in health, Grossmont Gardens will perform another health assessment.
